The Victoria Peak Garden is also known  as “The Peak.” It has an altitude of about 1,817.6 feet, above sea level. Upon reaching the summit, visitors will surely enjoy a bird’s eye view of the Victoria Harbor and the West and South of Hong Kong. There is also a museum called the “Peak Tower.” It is a seven story building shaped like a ship, where the Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong and the Peak Explorer Motion Simulator are located.

The scenes in Hong Kong are different between day and night. During the day, the city is packed with people and traffic. At night, the whole city is swathed by colorful lights and the best way to experience Hong Kong’s night views is from the Victoria Peak Garden.

Getting to The Peak  is not quite difficult. It doesn’t require hiking, just to reach this highest point within Hong Kong. Tourist can take a pleasant ride on the Peak Tram and the journey takes only seven minutes.

The Peak is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. It is a “must visit” destination in Hong Kong. A tour in the city won’t be complete without visiting the Victoria Peak Garden.
